[Robot Armor 1] Legs

Now, the armor-building process begins. Unlike in the robot-making part, we're going to use 0.2mm thick aluminium planes in this part. That's because the movie requires some action scenes in which the robots give some serious wound in the armor each other when fighting. The thin planes make it easier and more real.

Fist of all, the knee-guards are made of these plane figures(1mm thick).

Bend each of them like this and drill holes on the sides.

The lower-knee guards are from this shape.

We need four guards, and each of them should be linked to the knee guard with a hinge.
Then, assemble the all parts with the knee-motor into one. Use four bolts and two washers for each leg.

Now, the robot's daggers(or, armor-schneider)

First, make the grip with 1T(1mm) aluminium like in the picture below.

Then, make the blade with 0.2T aluminium.

And, combine the both together with epoxy adhesives. In doing this, you'd better set a 1T-aluminium post inside the blade.

Now, cover the sides with 0.2T planes, and it finishes.

All are assembled into one, but it's temporary - they will be disassembled when the painting-process starts. After that, the upper blank will be covered.
